Founded 1892 for the purposes of healthful physical activity and
good fellowship.
A
100+ year history of tradition…
On May 17th
1892, the Field Club was created by its founders to, according to the
first Charter, encourage “ball playing, cricket playing and other moral,
healthful physical exercise.”
Today’s games may have changed a bit, but the Moorestown Field Club remains
true to the founders’ vision.
The Field Club is
a member-owned, private club dedicated to providing members exceptional
golf, tennis and social good fellowship for each and every family member.
Golf
The Field Club
features a beautifully designed 9-hole course with two sets of tees. The
full 18 holes play over 6,000 yards and are enjoyable for golfers of all
skill levels. Better golfers are challenged not to stray too far from the
confines of the fairways.
The Field Club
has men’s and women’s golf events, retirees’ and children’s golf programs,
is home course to the Moorestown High School
“Quakers” golf team and welcomes players of all levels. The Pro Shop
offers golf merchandise, clubs, practice range,
carts, and of course, lessons from our own PGA
Professional for golfers who have less than the perfect swing.
Tennis
The
Field Club offers six professionally constructed
and maintained courts: two “Har-Tru” courts and four hard surface. Tennis
programs for all player levels are in place and friendly competition
combines with “healthful physical activity” on the courts almost
year-round. Programs include men’s and women’s competitive teams, social mixed
doubles and children’s tennis. There are clinics and individual
instruction for all levels from our own on-site Tennis Pro. Tennis Pro
Shop offers equipment and merchandise.
Club,
Dining and Social
The Field Club prides itself on making sure you and everyone in the
family enjoy the club’s facilities and calendar of events.
The Clubhouse
features pleasant dining areas, Men’s Locker Room, Ladies’ Locker Room,
meeting rooms and is the site of all the club’s ”indoor” activities.
The
Club restaurant offers excellent fare for breakfast and luncheon and hosts
frequent dinner events providing sumptuous dining with friends.
Considering all the palate tempting offerings, restaurant minimums are
extremely reasonable and easily achieved over the quarterly minimum
period.

Duplicate and
Dinner
Bridge, Bowling and many inter - Club competitions are available. Special
events are diverse such as Oktoberfest, Breakfast with Santa and our New
Years Eve Party to name a few. Sunday Brunch is a standout favorite to
enjoy with family and friends.
